What is a Fluxion?

A Fluxion merges two or more existing feeds into a single RSS stream. Think of it as a "feed of feeds" — all your sources combined, deduplicated, and sorted by date.

Why Use a Fluxion?

  • Topic consolidation — follow multiple news sources in one feed
  • Reduce clutter — one RSS URL instead of many in your reader
  • Combine with widgets — embed a single merged feed on your website

How to Create One

1. Go to Fluxions in the sidebar and click New Fluxion

2. Select 2 or more feeds you want to merge

3. Give it a name and save

4. A new RSS token is generated — use it like any other feed

How It Works

  • Fluxions do NOT require scraping — they query items from existing feeds
  • When a source feed refreshes, the fluxion updates automatically
  • Items are deduplicated by URL — the same article appearing in two sources appears once
  • Items are sorted by publish date (newest first)

Limits

  • A fluxion counts as 1 item toward your tier's feed limit
  • Requires at least 2 source feeds
  • Free tier can create fluxions (uses 1 of your 3 feed slots)
