Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using RSSFlux, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

RSSFlux provides RSS feed creation, web scraping, monitoring, and notification services. Features and availability may change at any time with or without notice.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use RSSFlux to send spam, unsolicited messages, or harassing content
• Scrape or monitor content in violation of the source website's terms of service
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or security measures
• Use RSSFlux for any illegal purpose

5. SMS / MMS Program

RSSFlux offers an SMS alert service ("SMS Program") that sends you notifications about your configured RSS feeds. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated SMS messages from RSSFlux to the number provided.

• Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation message and no further messages.
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance. You will receive instructions on how to use the service.
• Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your feed activity and configuration. You may receive from 0 to 50 messages per day depending on your plan.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply. RSSFlux does not charge for SMS delivery, but your carrier's standard message and data rates apply to all messages.
• Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Supported Carriers: SMS is supported on most US and international carriers. WhatsApp messages are delivered via the WhatsApp Business API and require a WhatsApp account.

6. Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All mobile information collected via the SMS Program is used exclusively for delivering the SMS alerts you have requested. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not use auto-dialers. All messages are sent at your express direction based on your configured feed alerts.

7. Service Availability

RSSFlux is provided "as is" without warranty of uptime or availability. We strive for high reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance may occur with minimal notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

RSSFlux is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, missed notifications, or service interruptions.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time from Settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, your data is deleted within 30 days. Refunds for paid plans are handled on a case-by-case basis. See our cancellation guide for details.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be notified via email.
