Information We Collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide:

  • Account information — email address and name, provided when you sign up
  • Phone numbers — only when you voluntarily enter them in Settings → Push Contacts for SMS/WhatsApp delivery. By providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive automated SMS messages from RSSFlux at that number.
  • Feed URLs — the web addresses you provide to create feeds
  • Payment information — processed securely through Stripe; we never store credit card numbers

How We Use Your Information

  • Email addresses are used for account-related notifications and optional email digests
  • Phone numbers are used exclusively for delivering SMS/WhatsApp messages you explicitly request or configure via automations
  • Feed URLs are used only to scrape and deliver content back to you
  • We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties

SMS / WhatsApp Messaging

SMS and WhatsApp messages are sent only when you explicitly click a "Send" button, configure a push contact, or set up an automation. You control every message. No promotional or unsolicited messages are sent. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe. You may also delete your phone number from Push Contacts in Settings at any time.
  • Consent: By providing your phone number, you consent to receive automated SMS messages for the specific purpose of feed alerts. This consent is not a condition of any purchase.
  • No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share your mobile phone number with any third parties for their marketing purposes. Mobile information is used solely for the SMS Program you have opted into.
  • Data Retention: Your phone number is stored for as long as it remains in your Push Contacts. When you delete a contact or cancel your account, the phone number is permanently removed within 30 days.

Data Storage and Security

Data is stored securely on encrypted servers in US-based data centers. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data in transit. Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled through Clerk.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Clerk — authentication and identity management
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Telnyx — SMS and WhatsApp message delivery (your phone number is shared with Telnyx only for message delivery)
  • OpenAI — help bot answers (only when you ask a question via the help panel)
  • Redis — caching and task queuing
